Instructions for presenters
The length of oral presentations is 15 minutes plus 5 minutes for questions (except for plenary presentations).
Presentations should be prepared in 16/9 format and must be provided as a PowerPoint or PDF file.
You must upload your file onto the dedicated presentation computer in the room where your presentation will take place, using a USB key, at least 30 minutes before the start of the session. These computers will be accessible from 08:00 to 19:00 every day, outside of the oral sessions.
In order to ease this process we kindly ask you to name your presentation as follows: SessionCode_PaperRank_PaperNumber_SpeakerLASTNAME.ext, e.g. Mo-1_1_324_SMITH.ext (where « PaperRank » in the position of the paper in the session, and « ext » is « ppt », « pptx » or « pdf »). Personal laptops may not be used to make presentations.
You must arrive 15 minutes before the start of the session to confirm your presence to the session chairperson.
You should display your poster as soon as you arrive on the day of your presentation. You will find your allocated poster position by referring to the list displayed at the registration desk.
Authors are asked to stand by their posters during the session, to present their work and answer questions.
Please make sure to remove your poster at the end of the day.
The title of your poster must appear clearly at the top. The authors and their corresponding organisations should also be clearly visible.
We recommend A0 portrait format for your poster (0.84m × 1.19m).
The poster boards are made of PVC. Make sure your poster is not too heavy and avoid laminated plastic or cardboard-backed sheets. To attach posters we recommend using Blu-Tack or easily removable double-sided tape, available on site at the registration desk. Pins or drawing pins are not allowed.
